Accio, Landsec’s framework partner, were asked to carry out a complete refurb of a floor for their new tenant who value a very high level of security. The works at New Street Square via Landsec’s market leading Myo offer involved the installation of new stud partitioning and glazing to form 5 new meeting rooms, private offices, server room, store rooms and a welcoming reception area. A reorganisation of the desk layout in the open office space followed to meet the exacting requirements of the tenant.
To deliver this CAT A+ project, we made alterations to the existing fire alarm system, lighting system, power and data enabling works, alterations to the HVAC layout including installation of a new independent system for the comms room along with final decorations and manifestations to the internal glazing. Also within our package, we installed high spec privacy cloaking to the external glazing which prevents external visuals to screens within the floor.
Our pre-construction lead in time for these works was just 2 weeks, with a delivery programme period of 6 weeks including the initial scope, whilst embracing variations from the tenant which were requested whilst we were on site.
