Accio Consult and Construct delivers EV and Training Rooms in another fast paced project for HSS Hire Group plc at Withiel Farm in Bridgewater
Accio Consult and Construct have recently completed a project for HSS Hire Group plc at their Withiel Farm branch and training facility in Bridgwater. Accio are HSS’s longstanding property partner and at the request of HSS, Accio surveyed the site and collaborated with suppliers to refurbish both the internal training, warehousing and sales facilities, plus extensive external works including EV charging and branding around the unit.
The project, culminating in a 3-week turnaround and final handover on April 19th. Among these were the construction of two new training rooms and a welcome room for HSS Hire Training. The scope of work encompassed the installation of metal stud partition walling, electrical and data works, fitting of fire alarms and emergency lighting, and the setup of a kitchen counter and units in the welcome area.
Additionally, Accio undertook various tasks within the warehouse space, including the construction of block walls for test and run benches, the implementation of safety measures like Armco and key-clamp barriers, and the establishment of clearly marked pedestrian walkways. External enhancements featured prominent HSS branding, the relocation of a confined space training tank, and the installation of a new 22kW EV charger. The Chargers link through to the back-office software to manage the use of the units. Withiel Farm represents the sixth such installation at a HSS site and Accio continues to support the HSS rollout of EV chargers across their estate nationwide with our shared values in the renewable space.
Moreover, the new HSS site now boasts a well-equipped sales counter, re-sale stock space, and storage racking to facilitate seamless operations. The project showcased Accio’s commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions while enhancing the functionality and aesthetics of the space.
