Asda have recently opened a Temporary Store in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland following devastating floods in the town and to their store in November. The Temporary Store provides 14k sqft of sales floor and 2.5k sq ft of BOH space. The store sits at highest point 700mm above the car park on a specially adapted suspended floor rated at an incredible 10knsqm.
The store will be in place for up to 3 years as the old store is demolished and a new store built.
Accio CEO Stephen Casey got the call to assist Asda and the team responded with typical professionalism and urgency. The 30m x 55m shop was built by Przemyslaw (Bolak) Sztuka, Accio Senior Foreman and handed over 2 weeks later ready for fit out.
David Swarbrick, Asda’s Senior Development Manager said ” We knew Steve and Accio and from the great work they have done for others over the years and for us, there was only one call to make. We are delighted with their product and service.”
